How do you rent a car at Marrakech airport?

Pickup at Marrakech airport takes 4 steps and 12 minutes on average. You book with your flight number, call us at baggage reclaim, an agent meets you at the exit, then you sign at car park P1.

There is no counter to queue at. Rental desk queues build in the Terminal 1 arrivals hall, especially between 2 and 6 in the afternoon when European flights land together. Our agent meets you directly outside the terminal, which skips that wait.

What does car rental at Marrakech airport include?

The rate includes comprehensive insurance, unlimited mileage, 24-hour assistance, airport delivery and collection, and flight tracking. No airport surcharge or service fee is added to the invoice.

Many rental firms add airport fees of 150 to 400 MAD, charged at the desk. We charge nothing for delivery to Ménara, by day or by night.

The no-deposit option exists for late arrivals, when blocking 20,000 MAD on a card is not welcome. It costs 250 MAD per day and replaces the card pre-authorisation.

The whole fleet can be delivered to Ménara: 4×4s and SUVs, Range Rover, Mercedes saloons, convertibles and supercars. Your choice depends on your itinerary rather than on counter availability, because the vehicle is brought to you.

If your stay includes Agafay, the Ourika or the Tichka, take a 4×4. If you are staying between Marrakech and Essaouira, a saloon or a convertible is enough and uses less fuel.

How much does car rental at Marrakech airport cost?

Rates at Marrakech airport start at 1,200 MAD per day for a 4×4 and reach 6,500 MAD for a Rolls-Royce. Delivery to Ménara stays at 0 MAD whatever the vehicle and whatever your arrival time.

The quoted price is the price paid. Three supplements exist, all stated before booking: full excess waiver at 200 MAD per day, the no-deposit option at 250 MAD per day, and returns outside Marrakech at 4 MAD per kilometre.

One-way rentals to Agadir, Casablanca or Essaouira are possible. They are priced on the vehicle's repatriation distance and quoted before you book.

Where exactly is the handover point at Ménara?

The handover point is car park P1, aisle B, 40 metres from the Terminal 1 exit on your left. The airport sits 6 kilometres from central Marrakech: 15 minutes to Guéliz and 20 minutes to the Medina.

From Terminal 2, allow 4 minutes on foot along the covered walkway linking the two terminals. Our agent can also meet you on the Terminal 2 side if you say so when booking.

Leaving the airport, the airport road joins avenue Mohammed VI in 6 minutes. For riads in the Medina, expect the car to stop about 200 metres short: the streets are pedestrian from Bab Laksour and Bab Doukkala onwards.
