What are the conditions to rent a 4x4 in Marrakech?

Renting a 4x4 in Marrakech requires a minimum age of 23, a licence held for 2 years and a deposit of 5,000 to 25,000 MAD depending on the model. Three documents are required: passport, driving licence and a bank card in the driver's name.

A national licence is sufficient for nationals of the European Union, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, the United States and Canada, for a stay of up to one year. An international licence is only required if the original licence is not in the Latin alphabet.

The deposit pre-authorisation is taken at handover and released within 7 days after return. It is never charged, except for damage recorded jointly at the time of return.

Where can a 4x4 or SUV be collected in Marrakech?

The 4x4 is delivered free of charge to Ménara airport, to hotels in Guéliz and Hivernage, to villas in the Palmeraie and to the gates of the Medina. Airport handover takes place at car park P1, 40 metres from Terminal 1.

For riads in the pedestrian zone, handover takes place at the nearest vehicle-accessible point: Bab Doukkala, Bab Laksour or Ferblantiers square depending on the address. A porter carries the luggage to the riad's door, at no extra charge.
